[ALBANIA]
Are you interested in missions?
This group is for those who are interested in Albania missions. Since 2013, the Albania mission team, Albanian Dream Team, has held an English camp/VBS for children and teenagers every summer in Tirana, the capital city of Albania. We have heard and seen that through the camps some of the participants got closer to God and decided to accept Jesus as their savior. Albanian Dream Team is planning on holding the 6th camp in July, 2018. This time, we will prepare for the camp starting this January. The preparation includes praying, deciding on a theme of the camp, developing English class materials, deciding on fun camp activities, etc. You do not have to worry whether you can go to Albania or not. However, please consider carefully and pray if you are ready to commit to this group. (If you want to know more about Albania Dream Team, you can check out our Facebook page www.facebook.com/AlbanianDreamTeam)

Not Information But Transformation.
For the Bible reading, we will be reading the Bible according to the curriculum, and at the SG session we will share how the Word of God works in our lives during the week. I hope that we live out the Word of God more intentionally and can experience how real and powerful it is in our daily lives.

[OPEN]
Throughout this small group term we hope to develop relationships that will be rooted in Christ and his word, so that all things, whether Bible study, praying, sharing, coffee time, games, eating etc, will be done for Christ! We will be going through the church-wide 1 Year Devotional Plan, using the YouVersion app. One of our goals is to develop the discipline of reading God’s word and thus deepen our relationship with our Saviour. In the 1 Year Devotional Plan, there are 4 chapters from different books of the bible for everyday reading. There is also a devotional to help us gain insight and further understanding of one of those four passages we read. Our group discussions on Sundays will be based on the chapter and devotional read for that day.

Open Small Group is a place where everyone is welcome. This is a small group for anybody new to the church, unsure what a small group is, somewhat uncomfortable with English, frequently travel and can’t commit to a small group, have had bad experiences with previous churches or small groups, or weren’t able to sign-up for a small group. We hope to provide a restful community for all who need it.

By officially signing up for this small group, however, you are committing to becoming a Core member. As Core members our responsibilities will be to embrace and welcome Open members to our NHM family whether they are long time attendees who desire community but are too busy to commit or whether they are seekers new to our faith. We expect that Core members will attend regularly, help lead side group discussions, and proactively take part in helping out and organizing small group events like Inreach, Outreach, and Fun Day. We feel that open small group is a great way to participate and strengthen our community and would love for you to come and help. Our Core members tend to be a smaller tightly knit group that not only love reaching out to the larger community but also regularly pray for and support each other in matters that they might be hesitant to share with a larger open group.

Please only sign up if you understood the open small group mission and feel a calling to become a Core member. If you are unable to commit to being a Core member but still desire to participate in open small group, instead of signing up, we welcome you to simply drop by every Sunday afternoon whenever you have the time and desire.

Please join this SG if:
You are comfortable with meeting new people and sharing with them
God has given you a burden you a burden to love NHM who have not been able to get plugged in.
Have a giving mindset

Please expect to:
Commit to attend meetings on time
Read & meditate on the passages
